About the Artist
All work is carried out by myself Lisa Arton-Clark. I have over 15 years of experience in painting commissioned murals. I studied Art at O-level and A-level, receiving A grades in both. I then went on to college in York to study Art and Design, and from there took my first job with a southern-based company, working throughout Cambridge, London and Bath. Painting murals, producing specialist paint effects and guilding. I have completed a wide range of commissioned work including portrait, murals for commercial and private clients and reproduction work.
The Design
All of the murals are drawn free hand with no stencil or projections involved. This allows ideas and designs to be transferred directly onto the wall with no restriction to size or scale. Working to all budgets, kidzmurals can produce either simple colourful murals or completely theme a room in intricate detail. Every child is different and therefor every design is different. You may have a clear idea of want you, if not I can produce designs for you.

Boys Spiderman, football, dragons, dinosaurs, planets, space, cars, tractors, Star wars, football crests, album covers, simpsons, aeroplanes, jungle.
Girls Flowers, fairies, unicorns, bratz, animals, underwater, dolphins.
The Mural
Following our initial contact i would arrange to come and meet you in person for a free 1 hour consultation. Here we can look at the room you intend to have the mural painted in, talk through ideas you have, and of course if your child is old enough ask what they would like! Every child has a favourite character, hobby, theme or book, and this is always a great starting point.
Once you have decided on the size and design, I can then work out the cost. I charge a set rate of £20 per hour, this includes the consultation, all materials, travel, designs, basically there are no hidden extras.
The cost will always remain exactly as quoted. You can get an idea of pricing by looking through the Portfolio. All murals are painted with waterproof non-toxic acrylic and emulsion paints, and are therefore ideal to be used around children.
For extra durability a matt varnish can be added on completion.
